I am a man of many "S's". Let me explain.....I am SENSITIVE about what happens to others and to life in general. I am SPIRITUAL and God is #1 in my life. I am SECURE in who I am and what I believe. I am a SURVIVOR of love lost and know that I want to experience that again. I am SELECTIVE in that I know what I need and what I'm looking for now. I am SINCERE in my thoughts and how I express them to others. I can be SILLY at times and still enjoy getting in touch with the child in me. I am also SERIOUS about giving back and enjoy volunteering at hospitals and schools. I am also STEADFAST about what it will take me to continue to be physically, emotionally, and mentally fit. Lately, there has been some discussion among my family about being mentally fit. LOL They keep telling me when are you planning on growing up Dad?

Now for some of the mundane things that make me who I am.....I love to be outside in nature where my SENSUAL side can be satisfied in so many ways. I enjoy hearing the birds sing in the early morning when I sit out on my lanai. I love to listen to wind blowing through the pines and the smell of the flowers that happen to be in bloom during that time.

I enjoy music and the many styles it has from rock n roll.... a little bit of country.....to beautiful classical pieces.I have a subscription to the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra. Also, some music gives me "happy feet" and makes me just want to dance the night away.

One of the "biggies" on my bucket list is to travel overseas. I would love to take a river cruise down the Danube River. Last year I spent 6 months volunteering at an orphanage in Lanxi, China where I help them start a school inside the orphanage that taught English. I am a retired school principal so it was right up my alley. This year I spent 1 month in the country of Colombia.

Now if you enjoy playing golf,love to dance or enjoy your sensuality, then you can move to the head of the line. LOL What line? Oh, I guess that is just a figment of my imagination. You know that happens when we become seasoned citizens.

I am now at the point in my life where I am happy and content with who I have become, but, I would enjoy finding someone who might also possess some "S's" and yet celebrate some differences which I can learn to embrace and become a better partner. Let me close by saying that I think ....Love creates an "us" without destroying a "me."

For those of you who are still reading I admire the fact that you took the time to read all of what I had to say. I guess I can get very windy being from the suburbs of the "windy city" Chicago.
